HOYA lenses are manufactured by HOYA Vision Care, a Japanese company specializing in optical products. Since 1941, HOYA has been producing high-quality lenses that enhance people’s lives through innovation and visual clarity—offering true value to society.
Hoya currently offers two types of blue light protection lenses in Vietnam, available in two refractive indexes: 1.55 and 1.60.
Both lens types come with a full range of prescriptions, suitable for myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism (both myopic and hyperopic astigmatism).

Common Refractive Index Options of HOYA Lenses
HOYA currently offers five different refractive indexes, ranging from 1.53 to 1.74. The higher the index, the thinner and stronger the lens—providing better impact resistance and a sleeker look.
Index 1.53 – Hoya Phoenix: Lowest index but made from Trivex material, known for its exceptional impact resistance. Ideal for rimless frames. For high prescriptions, a higher index (≥1.67) is recommended for a thinner yet durable lens.
Index 1.55 – Hoya Stellify 1.55S: HOYA’s most affordable lens, available in single vision and progressive designs. Includes BlueControl and Mini PAL variants, suitable for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism.
Index 1.60 – Hoya Stellify 1.60AS / Nulux 1.60: Mid-range option offering thinner lenses without a steep price. Flat design reduces distortion, ideal for all-purpose use.
Index 1.67 – Hoya Nulux / Stellify 1.67: Thinner and tougher than 1.60, perfect for prescriptions above -3.00D. Also suitable for rimless frames where both durability and aesthetics matter.
Index 1.74 – Hoya Nulux 1.74: The thinnest and most advanced lens HOYA offers. Extremely durable, ultra-thin—ideal for those wanting the very best, regardless of price.
Coatings and Lens Series by HOYA
Stellify Series: High-contrast, anti-reflective lenses with HVP coating. Water, dirt, and smudge-resistant—easy to clean and comfortable for daily wear.
Stellify BlueControl: Blue light-blocking lenses with Hi-Vision Protect (HVP) coating. Blocks 20% of UV 550 light and digital blue light, reducing eye strain and fatigue.
Nulux Series: HOYA’s flattest single vision lenses. Offers wide visual fields and consistent focus across all directions. SFT coating includes 7 features: anti-reflective, scratch-resistant, water/oil/dust-repellent, enhanced contrast, and night driving safety.
Hi-Vision LongLife (HVLL): HOYA’s premium coating, available via order from HOYA Singapore. Features outstanding durability, clarity, and ease of cleaning—perfect for extended wear.
Phoenix Series: Made from ultra-clear, lightweight, flexible Trivex material. Designed for rimless or drill-mounted frames. Offers excellent impact resistance, superior optical clarity, and HVP coating that resists scratches and water up to 5x better than standard lenses.
