A good warranty policy will help Mat Kinh Dien Bien Phu 529 gain the trust and love of customers. That is our motto and goal.

I. FRAME AND SUNGLASSES PRODUCTS:

• Frames and sunglasses priced below 500,000 VND: Warranty for technical defects 6 months.
• Frames and sunglasses priced from 500,000 VND: Warranty for technical defects 1 year.

• Lifetime free replacement of new nose pads, screws, adjustments, cleaning and refurbishing.
• Products still within the warranty period.
• The warranty period is calculated from the date of the invoice in the management software of Mat Kinh Dien Bien Phu.
• Warranty products must ensure proper usage according to the guidance of the company's staff or the instruction manual.
• Warranty products must use the correct materials and warnings from the manufacturer.
• Products with technical defects from the manufacturer such as:
• Weld joint failure: points of connection on the glasses that are not securely welded and have completely come off the connection point but are not chipped or deformed.
• Peeling coating: occurs due to uneven plating/painting process by the manufacturer. The coating or paint layer is peeling before use.

• Broken, loose welds: Lens arms, frames that are broken, hinges that are broken, weld points that are chipped, deformed, or the frame is broken or deformed due to external forces causing distortion of the glasses.
• Worn coating, peeling paint: due to prolonged use.
• Breaks showing signs of external force (impact, pressure, bending, warping...).
• Products not properly maintained, exposed to high temperatures, chemicals, or cleaning agents such as:
• Sunglass lenses that are broken or cracked, peeling due to high temperature exposure, improperly cleaned with unsuitable tools.
• Glasses displayed or stored in high-temperature areas or placed under direct sunlight.
• Water, sweat accumulating in screws, joints leading to rust.
• Products worn out during use such as:
• Paint fading, sweat accumulation, stretching, tearing, cuts, scratches, insect damage, rust, collisions.
• Misuse of the product leading to loose joints.
• Naturally worn accessories.
• Lenses scratched during use.
• Lenses yellowing over time due to sweat and working environment.

• Cases not covered by warranty, Mat Kinh Dien Bien Phu will support a discount on new purchases from 20–50% depending on the product.
• The decision of Mat Kinh Dien Bien Phu is final.

• Products that have expired warranty or faults due to user.
• Improper use according to the guidance of company staff or the instruction manual.
• Improper use of materials and warnings from the manufacturer.
• Within 30 days from the date of purchase, if the product is BROKEN due to user, kinhmatdienbienphu.com will provide a 50% discount on the original price (applied for products with equal or lower value, if the customer chooses a higher value product, 50% of the value of the broken product will be deducted).

• Customers please bring the product directly to the showroom or send the product by other means as agreed.
• The product will be received, checked, and sent to the distributor for fault evaluation.
• Processing time: 3–7 working days

II. LENS PRODUCTS:

• Lens degree adaptation warranty: 1 month
• SINGLE VISION LENS: Free replacement of the new lens degree once after being advised and agreeing to adapt to the new degree.
• BIFOCAL/PROGRESSIVE LENS: Replacement with one pair of single vision lenses (near or far) with brand/features of choice priced < 1,000,000 VND.
• Chemi, Kodak, Vision X lenses: 12 months technical warranty.
• Element lenses: 6 months technical warranty.
• ZEISS lenses: 24 months technical warranty (Lotutec, Polarized, dyed warranty 12 months).

• Products with technical defects from the manufacturer (peeling, bursting, leaking coating).
• Defects arising during grinding/assembly of lenses.
• Must be used correctly according to the guidance and warnings from the company and manufacturer.
• Warranty period calculated from the date of the invoice.

• Natural wear (decreased light transmission, discoloration due to sweat…).
• Signs of external force (scratches, breakage, chipped edges…).
• Not properly maintained, exposure to heat, chemicals.
• User negligence: scratched, insect damage, lost,…

• Cases not covered by warranty, Mat Kinh Dien Bien Phu will support a discount on new purchases from 20–30% depending on the product.
• The decision of Mat Kinh Dien Bien Phu is final.
• No adaptation warranty for 1 month if the lenses are cut according to the degree requested by the customer and the technician has cut the correct type of lens – correct degree, axis, PD, ADD as per the measurement paper.

• Agreement if the lens product needs to be ordered.
